Bergheim is a village community to the South West of Augsburg. The characteristic features of the plot are its position on the village’s periphery and its orientation to the Western Forests.

From the entrance the building opens in a fan-like pattern in all directions with new room compositions appearing at any point in the house. Exterior and interior are linked by large surface glazing which are an integral part of the buildings outer shell.A glass atrium funnels light and air into the interior.
